About
South Africa's Fan-Voted
Comedy Awards
The Comedy Awards are produced and presented by the National Film Academy — the same organisation behind the prestigious National Film & TV Awards South Africa, now celebrating over a decade of championing fan-voted excellence in screen entertainment.
Unlike industry panels or critic-led ceremonies, The Comedy Awards are entirely decided by the public — putting the power of recognition in the hands of comedy fans across South Africa and beyond.
From beloved sitcoms and blockbuster comedy films to stand-up specials and podcast sensations, The Comedy Awards honours every corner of the comedy world.
The Categories
Award Categories
Every category is nominated and voted for by the public — comedy fans decide who wins.
South African Comedy
